FOAS ( Future
Offensive Air System)
The British Defense Ministry is considering to replace the aircraft
Tornado GR4 "for
forward-looking aviation system FOAS .
Aircraft and aircraft systems developed under this program should be
ready by 2018, when the fighter-bomber Tornado will deduct for the
resource.
Under this theme, work is underway on several systems:
- A promising carrier CVF ,
- A single combat aircraft of the future FJCA ,
formerly known as the FCBA ,
- Unmanned combat aircraft
- Cruise missile, airborne,
- Carriers of cruise missiles.
